Open Entrepreneurship is a partnership among innovation professionals that enables universities to jointly develop and share knowledge on how to create research‑based companies, and how to connect researchers with experienced external entrepreneurs and investors.

Open Entrepreneurship (OE) shows what is possible when universities join forces. Our collaboration is built on respect for the universities’ different profiles and approaches – and in the understanding that today’s major societal challenges require efforts, shared learning, and openness across institutions.

We provide the framework that makes cross-university innovation not only possible but also legitimate, practical, and academically meaningful.

Open Entrepreneurship is a national collaboration that works across universities, not alongside them. As a researcher you will gain access to a broader pool of co-founders, specialised expertise and early-stage support than any single institution can offer on its own.

The initiative is designed for researchers who want to understand whether their research has commercial potential — and, if so, how to move from research to real-world impact in a structured and responsible way.
